CANYON RAILWAY: American Orient Express detailed its revamped
Copper Canyon and Colonial Mexico desert railway trip itinerary for 2006.
The revised plan now adds the option of traveling roundtrip from El Paso,
Texas. The itinerary takes in Chihuahua, Creel, Divisadero (where guests
meet with Tarahumara Indians), El Fuerte, Los Machis, Topolobampo Bay and
Copper Canyon itself (twice). Tours depart roundtrip from El Paso on Jan.
28; Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25; and March 4. Rates start at $3,490 per person,
double, and include accommodations, dining, tours and entertainment;
there's an early booking discount of $500 for bookings 180 or more days
prior or $300 for reservations 90-179 days prior. Additional dates are
available in October and November 2006.
